Veteran director Barathiraja thanked the Tamil Nadu government for organizing SP Balasubrahmanyam’s funeral with all the honor of state. The director paid his last respects to the legendary singer on his farm in Chennai’s Thamaipakkam. With the full honor of the government, the mortal remains of SP Balasubrahmanyam were buried on Saturday. Legendary composer Ilayaraja composed SPB tribute music that was played during the funeral. SP Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to a Chennai-based private hospital on August 4 after he tested positive for COVID 19.
