ASUS ROG Phone 3 now in Malaysia: Price starts from RM 2999

Following last month’s reveal, ASUS has kept its promise to launch the new ROG Phone 3 in Malaysia today. In fact, the new gaming phone is obtainable in our market starting tonight.

With that, let’s go straight to the price. The most affordable model in the family is the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition which is available for RM 2999 while the standard ROG Phone 3 can be obtained for RM 3799 for the variant with 12GB RAM and RM 4499 for the 16GB variant.

In case you missed our previous report, the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, while standard ROG Phone 3 variants feature the more robust Snapdragon 865+. Additionally, the Strix model has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while its higher-end sibling comes standard with 512GB of internal storage along with the two RAM configurations we mentioned above.

In addition to the differences between its processors, RAM, and storage, there is also a slight design variation on its rear. However, the rest of the main elements within both ROG Phone 3 variants are the same, including the 144Hz 6.59-inch Full HD + AMOLED display, 64MP triple camera, 24MP selfie camera, and 6000mAh battery.
