MIKEL ARTETA has a worse management record at Arsenal than his unpopular predecessor Unai Emery.

But Premier League stats released today by SunSport show him behind Emery in several key areas.
Arteta has managed 21 top flight games since joining the North Londoners, winning ten, a 48 winning percentage.
Emery, 48, won 25 of his 51 Prem games, a winning percentage of 49.
Of Arteta’s 21 Premier League encounters, he has drawn six, giving him a total of 36 points and a points-per-game ratio (PPP) of 1.71.
This puts him 0.02 PPG behind Emery, who was sacked by the Gunners with 25 wins and 13 draws in 51 Prem matchups, a total of 1.71 PPG.
Despite the current situation, Arsenal fans are unlikely to care about the information.
His new boss appears to be on an upward curve, while Emery was in free fall when he was fired last November.
Arteta has already scored eight clean goals Prem in his 21 games, while Emery, who is now Villareal’s coach, only managed ten of 51.
And with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed a new three-year contract, in addition to the arrival of Willian, Gabriel and William Saliba, things are looking up.
