Aminuddin said he believed MPs, including those in the ruling government, were sincere in their support for Anwar.
On Wednesday (September 23), Anwar told reporters that he had nearly two-thirds of the support of parliamentarians to form the next government, but did not reveal the figures.
The Port Dickson MP said he would provide more details once he has had an audience with the King, as that is most respectful.
Anwar said he has the support of MPs from various parties, including those from Perikatan Nasional.
In another matter, Aminuddin said that health authorities had authorized him to return to work after returning from campaigning in the Sabah elections on Saturday (September 26).
