PETALING JAYA: Pengurusan Air Selangor (Air Selangor) has announced that a pipeline break is causing an unscheduled interruption of water supply in 59 areas of Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Langat districts.
Air Selangor said in a statement on Friday (October 16) that the incident was the result of landfill pipelines by third parties causing excessive pressure on the water pipes in the U11 World Section construction area, Shah Alam.
Water supply to the affected areas is expected to resume at 10 am Saturday (October 17), it added.
Water tanker trucks will be mobilized to the affected areas.
