Jabra stands out here with seven and a half hours of use on a single charge. If you consider the case, Jabra totals 28 hours, while both AirPods models have a limit of 24.

Both offer a “fast charge” form that produces an hour of use after a short charge, though AirPods win here. AirPods only take five minutes for an hour of use, while the Jabra model needs 15 minutes to charge.

Features of AirPods and AirPods Pro

Each set of headphones is packed with features, some unique, while others share.

For example, both sets of headphones can access Siri, they will automatically pause the content when they are removed from the ear and the transparency mode (or HearThrough as Jabra calls it).

Beyond that, AirPods Pro has an automatic adaptive equalizer that adjusts to your individual ears. This is the only tuning available and offers another useful feature, active noise cancellation. Adaptive EQ listens to the audio in your ear to ensure that the ANC is not interfering with the sound of the music, and to ensure that it is heard as intended.

Active noise cancellation is a highly requested feature found in AirPods Pro and those who need active noise cancellation will pay handsomely for it. It is ideal for buses, planes or other areas where there is a lot of monotonous background noise.

Elite Active 75t Features

Comparatively, the Jabra Elite Active 75t does not rest on its laurels. These headphones come with their own unique features.

For one thing, instead of just Siri, the Elite Active 75t also supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. This is great if you’re not using them on iOS to have a built-in wizard, with the Alexa option available for iOS and Android users.

Jabra also includes a fully customizable equalizer. You can choose from various audio presets, or you can customize the equalizer to your own taste.

These headphones do not have active but passive noise cancellation. This is not as strong as the ANC on AirPods Pro, but better than the seal created on standard AirPods.

Unlike AirPods, the Jabra Elite Active 75t can connect to multiple devices at once. With the multiple connection, up to eight devices can be connected to the headphones with two actively connected at the same time.

Jabra also boasts improved durability as they are certified to an IP57 rating, which resists ingress of solid particles and immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. AirPods Pro only received an IPX4 resistance rating, meaning it is not dust tested, but it can withstand gusts of water hitting it from any angle.

That’s backed by a two-year warranty, while AirPods and AirPods Pro go with the industry standard one-year warranty, though they’re covered by AppleCare on your iPhone.

Audio quality

Features may not matter if the audio quality isn’t up to par, but luckily both sets are well-equipped, though different.

AirPods are the weakest of the bunch when it comes to audio. AirPods Pro is a big step forward and has a much more impressive sound, although they don’t push either end. It is a very highway center.

Jabra has more impressive bass, which is probably due to the higher headphone volume. If you are looking for headphones that are more powerful for heavy bass workouts, the Elite Active 75t are more suitable than the AirPods Pro. Due to their EQ control ability, this can also be adjusted exactly to your liking.

Between the two, Jabra can have the upper hand when it comes to sound, both with that added bass and overall volume.

Which one I choose?

As with most comparisons, what is best for you will be completely subjective and will depend on what is most important to you.

Jabra Elite Active 75t is the choice if you want the best battery life, adjustable equalizer, virtual assistant choice, best durability, and best audio.

AirPods are the option if you want the cheapest in the group but still want Apple’s legendary ease of use that H1 audio chip offers.

Then AirPods Pro is there when you want that H1 chip but with high-end features like active noise cancellation, transparency mode, adaptive equalizer, some level of water resistance, and better audio than standard AirPods.
