KUALA LUMPUR: The number of national security personnel is still sufficient to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic, although some of them are positive due to the virus infection and must be quarantined.

“This includes the island of Omadal, Sabah, which is declared a CMCO area where residents of the area can still carry out economic activities.
“Besides that, the island of Omadal is not among the six EMCO locations and that is why the government does not send any food aid,” he said.
Ismail Sabri said that if the residents of the island of Omadal needed food assistance, the matter would be referred to the Sabah Disaster Management Committee.
