Woman arrested after friend accused of hurting member

GEORGE TOWN: A woman was arrested for allegedly injuring her friend’s penis on Friday (November 13).

The 38-year-old suspect was arrested in Paya Terubong on Friday (November 13) around 9 a.m. after a report on the incident was made.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong said the 47-year-old victim alerted police at 7.55am after claiming the woman had injured his penis.

“The victim said that the suspect, whom she knew, arrived at her office around 6.30 am and they both took drugs.

“After a while, the victim passed out, only to find his bloody penis and his friend missing,” he said in a statement on Friday (November 14).

ACP Soffian said the victim, who used to work as a photographer, suffered an incision, but the injury was not serious.

He said the victim was likely injured by a sharp object and had been protected for treatment.

He has a history of psychiatric treatment at Penang Hospital.

Police confiscated several items, including a pair of scissors believed to have been used to injure the victim, from the scene.

The suspect who has three drug crime charges tested positive for methamphetamine.

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for causing harm.
