Ismail Sabri: Certain situations require the use of MySejahtera at gas stations

“Yesterday Bukit Aman’s Deputy CID Director Mior Faridalathrash Wahid also said that it was mandatory to register with the MySejahtera app even if a person did not enter the store. This was for contact tracing purposes, he added. “
So CPRC and CID Deputy Director Bukti Aman are wrong?
Any apologies for the confusion caused? Or is a genuine apology not part of our culture like our culture is “putar belit”?

I will keep my promise: Failure to scan MySejahtera does not appear to be a crime under the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Order (Declaration of Infected Local Areas) 2020.
I can’t find any regulation in the order that penalizes it. This appears to be a SOP produced by the National Security Council (NSC) and is not published.
Also, MySejahtera does not appear to be a published application. So how can compounds be released when it doesn’t seem to contravene any known laws in Bolehland?
Can someone in the know, really in the know, please explain this to me?
Open mind: Whatever it is, don’t give plainclothes cops a chance to ticket you, just scan MySejahtera every time you visit a store, gas pump, or roadside shop.
BlueShark1548: Defense Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob should be the only person to give his opinion on standard operating procedures, not the police or any other body.
There is enough confusion from overzealous officers issuing or threatening people with citations.
IndigoBird7612: When SOPs are not detailed, authorities should educate people and not blatantly issue subpoenas.
I saw a short clip in which some teenagers put three tables together with two at one table and yet they were summoned rather than told that in the future they shouldn’t do it.
The SOP is not exhaustive and you do not expect it to be. Some flexibility must be shown.
Hmmmmmmmm: Is there really a POE that does not allow joining tables or that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) set their own rules?
We have seen photos of VIPs dining together at long tables. Were those tables together or just one table?
If we had to join the three tables but cover them with a tablecloth, would it still be considered as three tables or one table? So the teens were fined because they didn’t have a tablecloth covering the tables?
I find the rule of not allowing tables to join simply absurd. The only thing that matters is that the diners are at a suitable distance.
The teens sat two at a table as required and were more than a meter apart. So what rules have they broken?
Simple simple: This is the best comedy of the year. Imagine that a driver stops his car at the gas station to run to the bathroom.
Upon reaching the bathroom, there is a guard with the temperature device who asks you to scan Mysejahtera first and then the guard takes her temperature.
The rest is history with the guard sprayed with a 36.5 degree centigrade liquid … not only from the driver but from the other drivers who have to queue.
Please, government leaders, get it right and use a little brains.
