PETALING JAYA: Medical experts and political observers want Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing (pix) to publicly apologize to the Director General of Health, Tan Sri, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, for the “unpleasant comments” made to him.

The president of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), Datuk Dr. M. Subramaniam, said it was “inappropriate” for Tiong to make such comments.
“MMA believes that the Ministry of Health has done well to control the Covid-19 situation, and a lot of credit should be given for this to Noor Hisham,” he told the Sun yesterday.
Ramon Navaratnam, president of the Center for Public Policy Studies at the Asian Leadership and Strategy Institute, said that by raising the issue of death, Tiong was “hitting below the belt.”
