BTS and Stray Kids took home awards at the 2020 MTV EMAs!

On November 8 local time, MTV held its annual Europe Music Awards, which aired from multiple cities this year instead of the usual physical ceremony in one city.

BTS emerged as the big winner of the night, taking a total of four awards after being nominated in five categories this year. The group won Best Song for their smash hit “Dynamite”, beating tough competition from DaBaby’s “Rockstar” with Roddy Ricch, Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now”, Lady Gaga and Ariana’s “Rain On Me” Grande, “Roddy Ricch” The Box “and” Blinding Lights “by The Weeknd.

BTS also won the Best Group award, beating out their fellow nominees 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, CNCO and Little Mix, as well as the Best Virtual Live award, which they won for their online concert “BANG BANG CON : The Live ”. Additionally, BTS claimed the Biggest Fans award for the third year in a row.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids took home the Best Korean Performance award after being nominated alongside ASTRO, EVERGLOW, KARD, and VICTON.
