Celcom users see red before mobile data service interruption

Celcom says that customers in some areas may have their data services affected due to a technical problem.

PETALING JAYA: Celcom has advised customers affected by an interruption in their mobile data service to restart their devices.

In a statement on its website, it said that customers in some areas nationwide may find the data services affected due to a technical problem.

“Our technical team is working hard to resolve the problem and restore services as soon as possible. Affected customers are encouraged to restart their devices, ”he said.

Several customers took to Twitter to vent about their inability to browse the web.

Ehsal Jesrin said: “Come on Celcom, (I) paid hundreds of ringgit and (now) I have this problem!”

Another user, Cik Siti, tagged Celcom and said: “Busiest day ever! I have classes! From 8:00 a. M. At 9:00 p. M., And this is the day you choose to be like this. “

Some users asked to be provided free internet once the problem was fixed.

Last month, Celcom gave its users six hours of free internet after a three-hour service outage.
