“In managing the third wave of Covid-19 currently, the government is striving to avoid the devastating impact on the country’s economy that could have negative effects on the economy and people’s livelihoods.

“Many companies are being forced to close. More than 800,000 people have lost their jobs. I hear their laments,” he said.

Muhyiddin said this in a special speech on the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic that was broadcast live on various television channels, including Bernama TV and Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) on Friday evening (October 31). .

At the same time, Muhyiddin also urged all members of Parliament (MP) to put aside political differences to ensure that the 2021 budget is passed for the benefit of the people and the country.
