The director general of Health said that two of the new conglomerates were detected in Sabah, another two in Selangor and one conglomerate in Negri Sembilan.

He said that in the Sakti group that was detected in Lahad Datu, Sabah, the index case was identified through a Covid-19 workplace assessment that was conducted on October 5.

“All cases have been admitted to Lahad Datu Hospital,” he said in a statement on Thursday (October 29).

At noon, Dr. Noor Hisham said that 154 people from this group were tested, of whom 18 tested positive, 101 tested negative, while another 35 people were still awaiting their results.

In another new group known as the Tuguson group in Kota Belud, Sabah, Dr. Noor Hisham said that this group’s index case was detected through a symptomatic examination of an individual on October 15.

He said the person has been admitted to Kota Belud Hospital, adding that 146 people tested positive for the virus, 18 tested negative and 128 more were still awaiting their results.

Dr Noor Hisham said that the Bah Medan cluster was detected in Sepang, Selangor.

“The index case in this group tested positive after a screening test in a high-risk area (Sabah) on October 3. A total of 53 people were tested and 20 tested positive, while another 32 are still awaiting their results. “, said.

He added that in the new conglomerate detected in Petaling, Selangor, known as the Taman Laut conglomerate, the index case was detected through symptomatic individual screening on October 21.

“The individual has been admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital. A total of 123 individuals were examined, where six tested positive, 18 tested negative, while another 99 are still awaiting their results,” he said.

Dr Noor Hisham also said that the Taman Bunga group that was detected in Seremban, Kuala Pilah and Jelebu in Negri Sembilan was an index case that tested positive on a symptomatic individual screening test on October 25.

A total of 55 people were tested, of whom 23 tested positive, 25 tested negative, while seven were still awaiting their results, said Dr. Noor Hisham.
