Lewis Hamilton can’t seem to do anything wrong. Staying true to his outstanding career, he qualified on pole position when Mercedes blocked the front of the grid once more.
On Saturday, at the end of the last free practice, Leclerc was heard on the radio claiming that he could hear Lewis Hamilton’s line on his radio. This particular incident sparked a series of hilarious tweets from Mercedes, Charles Leclerc, and Lewis Hamilton.
After qualifying sessions, the teams prepare for the first race of the Portimao circuit. What’s special about the race, aside from the fact that it will add to Hamilton’s winning record, is that it’s Roscoe, the birthday of Lewis Hamilton’s British bulldog.

On Roscoe’s birthday, Mercedes-AMG F1 tweeted a photo of him wearing the team’s headphones. The legend hilariously said, “Bono takes a week off.”
Leclerc found his funny side and responded to cheep with, “Ahhhhh, it was probably Roscoe I heard on the radio this morning.” Pointing out the radio channel mismatch that allowed him to listen to the Mercedes line for a while.
Lewis Hamilton was not far from the jokes and responded to Leclerc. “Naughty Roscoe! I will talk with him “ answered.

Lewis Hamilton gets pole and Leclerc shines in qualifying
Hamilton begins Sunday’s race in pole position once again, the 97th of his career. He managed to beat Valtteri Bottas on his last qualifying lap. His teammate and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen will be hot on his heels as they seek to increase their own win count.
Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, delivered one of his best laps of the 2020 Formula 1 season. After an impressive free practice session, Leclerc seized the momentum and led Ferrari to the second row of the grid, qualifying in fourth. position.
