Muhyiddin to meet all MB and CM tomorrow, report says

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is said to have called the meeting after the king decided against a proposal to declare an emergency.

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will meet the Prime Minister and the top ministers of all the states tomorrow morning in Putrajaya.

According to a report by The Malaysian Insight, a message was sent after the Malaysian rulers ended their special meeting today in Istana Negara.

However, it was said that the meeting’s agenda was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, Penang Prime Minister Chow Kon Yeow confirmed to FMT that the meeting with Muhyiddin will start tomorrow at 9.30 am.

Chow did not provide further details.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah met with Malaysian rulers on Muhyiddin’s proposals today. The meeting started in the afternoon and ended around 6pm.

It was later reported that the King had decided not to declare an Emergency, saying there was no need for one anywhere in the country.

He also reminded politicians to stop politicking, which can disrupt the stability of the country’s administration, and highlighted the importance of the 2021 Budget to carry out plans for the country.
