KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should practice some self-reflection, says Zuraida Kamaruddin.
The Minister of Housing and Local Government was responding to Anwar’s statement on Friday (23 October), who claimed that the Perikatan Nasional government was “using undemocratic means to stay in power.”
“I highly recommend Anwar to practice self-reflection.
“He seems to have completely forgotten that it was his recent actions that caused the political instability and distraction in the battle against Covid-19.
“It was Anwar who held a press conference in which he outrageously claimed that the government of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had collapsed and had a formidable and convincing majority,” he said in a statement on Friday, adding that Anwar has not yet submitted any names. de la MPs allegedly supported him.
Zuraida said that Anwar, who claimed the government lacked transparency, had not been transparent.
