Fuel price for the fourth week of October 2020: gasoline drops

With Friday comes the usual weekly fuel price update. Good news for gasoline users, as you will pay less for fuel in the next week of October 24-30. Meanwhile, diesel users will continue to pay what they have been paying for the past week.

According to the Ministry of Finance, gasoline of 95 RON for 4 million euros will be priced at RM 1.64 per liter, four sen less than last week’s RM 1.68 per liter. Meanwhile, the 97 RON gasoline will also be reduced by four sen per liter to RM 1.94 per liter from last week’s RM 1.98.

As for Euro 2M diesel, fuel will continue to be priced at RM 1.74 per liter for the next week. This means that Euro 5 diesel, which is 10 sen more expensive per liter than Euro 2M diesel, will still be priced at RM1.84 per liter.

These prices will remain in effect until October 30, when the next round of fuel prices will be announced. This is the 42nd edition of the weekly fuel price format this year and the 94th overall for the format, which runs from midnight on Saturday to the following Friday.
