BRUNO FERNANDES has been hailed as ‘captain’s stuff’ after footage emerged of him yelling at Alex Telles for not passing fast enough.

The 26-year-old playmaker transformed United’s midfield after signing for Sporting Lisbon last January and is set to join the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pattern for the first time against Paris Saint-Germain this week.

And fans believe he’s the perfect man for the job after a clip showed Fernandes criticizing new left-back Telles, 27, in training.

It came after Telles, who arrived from Porto this summer, was intercepted in a passing drill, to which Fernandes took offense.

Both were former rivals in the Portuguese league.

But United fans praised Fernandes as he assumed leadership on training ground.

One said: “Bruno Fernandes is 100% captain stuff. Losing his cool with Alex Telles for not moving the ball fast enough.”

“These are the levels we need!”

Another said: “It doesn’t matter if you wear the bracelet. The influence of the boys is visible.

“He has a winning mentality and anyone who does not reach the level will be eliminated.”

The teammates were training before United’s first Champions League group stage qualifying game.

But they will face French champion PSG without new striker Cavani and regular captain Harry Maguire.

Cavani has just been available to play after his two week self-isolation period after traveling to England and has stayed behind to work on his fitness.

Solskjaer opened Maguire for the game in Newcastle, with the England defender even on the scoreboard.

But with the former Leicester ace clearly desperate for respite, he has stayed home for the PSG game.
