BUSINESS

– National Savings Bank, Kota Kinabalu

The bank has confirmed that a total of two employees working at its main branch in Kota Kinabalu tested positive for Covid-19.

The bank will be temporarily closed from October 19 to 25. All employees at the branch will undergo swab testing and contacts are being traced.

– Foot Solutions, The Curve shopping center, Mutiara Damansara

A Foot Solutions employee informed the mall’s management on October 16 that they had tested positive for Covid-19.

All other store personnel were immediately examined and confirmed negative for Covid-19. They are currently in self-quarantine for 14 days.

The entire mall underwent a deep cleaning and disinfection overnight on October 16 and resumed operations as usual today (October 17).


RESIDENCES

– Lake Point Residence, Cyberjaya

The administration informed its residents on October 16 that two positive cases have been identified in Phase 1 of the gated community, and both cases come from the same household. The remaining members of the household are in home quarantine.

Management said it is making the necessary arrangements for a complete sanitation of the facilities and all common facilities to be carried out as soon as possible.


OFFICES

– Mont Kiara Guest House

An employee of a tenant in Wisma Mont Kiara tested positive for Covid-19 on October 16, who last entered the facility on October 9.

Wisma Mont Kiara’s management said that it had consulted with the Ministry of Health which verified that it is not necessary to close the entire tower but only the affected floor. As such, business in the tower will continue as usual.

The management will continue to carry out a thorough cleaning and sanitation of the facilities, he added.
