Sega is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month. And it’s doing it quite generously on Steam. The publisher is giving away a number of free games, with new ones every day or so until October 18.

First up is Sonic The Hedgehog 2, which Sega is giving away from October 9-18. Claim it within this time window and it will be yours forever. While they aren’t games, the publisher is giving away free DLC as well. Specifically, the Battle for Kawagoe map for Total War: Shogun 2 is now free, as is the Sea 60th Items pack for Two Point Hospital.

And then there are some games that Sega made just for this 60th anniversary celebration. One is called Armor of Heroes, featuring retro-style tank battles with a modern twist, available October 15-19. Then there’s Endless Zone, a side-scrolling airplane shooter that will be available between October 16-19.

Probably the most interesting of all is Streets of Kamurocho, which lets you play as Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima in a Streets of Rage-style beat ’em up. You can claim this between October 17-19. And finally, there’s Golden Ax, a version of a deleted project called Golden Ax: Reborn that you can claim between October 18-19.

Steam will also add some Sega-related items to its inventory, such as the 60th anniversary background. Of course, the celebration includes other games that are sold at deep discounts.
