PETALING JAYA: British police yesterday revealed the findings of a post-mortem report of an alleged suicide murder case involving a Malaysian couple and their three-year-old son in a flat in Brentford, west London.

UK media reported that the boy Kailash Kuha Raj had been strangled to death while his mother, Poorna Kaameshwari Sivaraj, 36, was stabbed to death.

The boy’s father, 42-year-old Kuha Raj Sithamparanathan, is believed to have remained in the apartments with the decomposing bodies of his wife and son for more than two weeks until police stormed the scene at Golden Mile House on Clayponds Lane. around 1 a.m. on October 6. .

The autopsy found a self-inflicted stab wound to Kuha Raj’s chest.

Neighbors in the vicinity of the apartments told police they last saw Poorna and Kailash on September 21 and September 24, respectively.

News portal dailymail.co.uk reported that British police have appealed to witnesses to step forward to help solve the mystery behind what led up to the gruesome incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Simon Harding said: ‘My investigation is ongoing and I would continue to appeal to anyone who may have information to help us come forward.

“Now we know how this family tragically lost their lives, but we have yet to find out why.

“Our initial inquiries established that Poorna and Kailash had not been seen or heard of for some time; Poorna since around September 21 and Kailash since around September 24. What happened between then and when our colleagues found them?

“Did you see or hear from anyone in the family during this period of time? Any data could prove vital. ”Harding was quoted as saying.

On Tuesday last week, police broke into the couple’s house on the fourth floor of the apartments before finding Kuha Raj stabbed in the chest.

He died minutes later while paramedics treated his injuries.

At the same time, the police found the bodies of Poorna and Kailash in the house.

The family’s pet dog, a cockapoo, was also found dead.

Kuha is said to be from Petaling Jaya and the couple married in Kuala Lumpur in 2015 before moving to London.

In previous reports, neighbors described them as a “perfect match” who was loving and friendly and who often walked daily with Kailash and his pet dog.

However, neighbors also said that in recent months since a lockdown was imposed to contain the coronavirus pandemic, the couple used to get into heated arguments and could be heard yelling at each other, sometimes for extended periods.
