CMCO: Cinemas in KL, Putrajaya and Selangor closed from October 14 to 27

Cinemas in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor will be closed from October 14 to 27 due to the conditional motion control order (MCO) implemented in the Klang Valley for a period of two weeks.

It is still operational today (October 13).

Major film exhibitors in Malaysia, including GSC Cinemas, TGV Pictures, MBO Cinemas, and mmCineplexes, have posted announcements of the closure on their respective official websites or Facebook accounts, stating the locations of closed venues and those that are still open.

Both GSC and MBO Cinemas also confirmed that their Sabah outlets are currently closed until October 26.

Viewers who have already purchased tickets for tomorrow’s shows can send an email to [email protected] (for TGV Pictures), [email protected] (mmCineplexes) and [email protected] (MBO Cinemas ) for a refund.

Also due to the closure, some films that were scheduled to premiere during this period are postponed with no new dates defined.

The titles affected include The Craft: Legacy, I Still Believe, Reborn, The Mortuary Collection Y Crayon Shin-Chan: Shock! Kingdom of Rakuga and almost four heroes.

However, the thriller The secrets we keep starring Noomi Rapace and Joel Kinnaman will premiere on October 22 as scheduled.
