Earlier today, Uggah, who is a deputy chief minister, told a press conference that the index case for the new group here involved Case 719, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on October 6 and had a history of trips to Sabah.

“A total of 16 contacts close to this case were evaluated on October 6 and three of those contacts tested positive for Covid-19 on October 8, namely cases 729, 730 and 731,” he said at a press conference. at Old State. Legislative Assembly Building here today.

He said that until now, the ‘Bah Arnab’ group was still under control and only involved the immediate relatives of the index case.

“However, the State Department of Health is actively conducting further investigation and tracing of other contacts with this group to prevent the disease from spreading more seriously,” he said.
