JOHOR BARU: Assemblywoman Maharani Nor Hayati Bachok tested positive for Covid-19.

The service center said Nor Hayati practiced home quarantine since returning from Sabah until Monday, adding that she never went to any programs or met anyone.

“All of his close contacts have been identified by the Muar district health office, where they have been evaluated and awaiting their respective results. The district health office will contact anyone who has had close contact with Nor Hayati to take a test, “it read.

The service center apologized to those affected and added that preventive measures have been followed throughout the period.

“We urge the public to stop speculating and give Nor Hayati and her family some space to pass this test in peace, as well as pray for their health and well-being,” he added.
