Malaysians angered by ‘double standards’ of politicians disobeying virus rules

The public’s anger continues over what appears to be double standards for politicians who do not follow safety standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent Covid-19 infection, such as masking themselves in crowded public places.

Although the National Security Council (NSC) has forced the wearing of a mask, especially in crowded public places, since August, social media is inundated with photos of politicians and ministers with their faces uncovered or wearing a mask incorrectly, which generates angry comments.
