KUALA LUMPUR: Restoration of water supply to the 247 areas affected by unscheduled outages is expected to begin tomorrow and in stages.

Air Selangor CEO Suhaimi Kamaralzaman said that efforts are underway to stabilize the water supply distribution system and that water restoration will start from midnight.

“The supply restoration plans are divided into three main groups, the first group of 145 areas will receive water supply at 6:00 pm tomorrow.

“The second group involving 91 areas will receive water supply starting at 6 pm on Thursday, while the remaining 38 areas under the third group at 6 pm on Friday,” he said at a press conference on the latest development. of the unscheduled water outages at Selangor Air Headquarters here today.

Meanwhile, Suhaimi said tests conducted with water samples at the Bukit Tampoi water treatment plant found the ton level (threshold odor number) to be at 3 and efforts are underway to treat raw water.
