BLACKPINK is back with their first full-length album and a new title track!
On October 2 at 1 p.m. KST, BLACKPINK digitally released their long-awaited first studio album “THE ALBUM” and title track “Lovesick Girls.”
Jisoo and Jennie contributed lyrics to the title song, which Jisoo describes as a “hopeful song” about the pain of love with an inspirational message on how to recover and overcome heartbreak. Jennie also participated in the production of the song.
Along with the digital version of their album, BLACKPINK has also released an intense new music video for “Lovesick Girls” that showcases the acting skills of all four members. The music video shows a more emotional side to the group than they did on their pre-release singles “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream.”
The physical version of BLACKPINK’s new album “THE ALBUM,” which will include their three recent comeback tracks, will be released on October 6.
