Liverpool deputy manager Pepijn Lijnders has praised the skills of Takumi Minamino and Diogo Jota.
Minamino signed for the Reds in January and Lijnders explained that he can change a game in the same way as No. 9 star Roberto Firmino.
Meanwhile, Jota arrived at Anfield earlier this month from Wolves and scored his first goal against Arsenal while making his Premier League debut with the club.
Lijnders revealed that it is difficult to train a player to find the instinct of a true forward in an opposition penalty area, but right-hand man Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Jota’s performance against the Gunners on Monday in this regard.
“Wow, what a wish!” Lijnders said of Minamino after her impressive performance against Lincoln City in the third round of the Carabao Cup last week.
“He is someone who also converts our collective game, just like Roberto [Firmino] does.
“His professionalism on and off the court is outstanding.
“His development so far has been really great and he is that player who always gives everything, every day.
“If you’re already good, then it gets really interesting.
“If it can continue like this, we will be very happy with it and for as long as it continues.”

Speaking of Jota, Lijnders added: “There is always room for passionate players at Liverpool.
“Diogo has a great desire to learn our game and will contribute something.
“He’s on the same level technically as our three forwards.
“The only thing that has been really difficult for me to train is the intuition in the area and being in the right position to score: the pure instinct of a forward.
“This is what we want from many players, of course, but especially from our three forwards].
“In 10 or 15 minutes [against Arsenal] He’s been in scoring position three or four times, so that’s a really good thing. “
Both Jota and Minamino could start against Mikel Arteta’s team on Thursday at the Carabao Cup.
