The next great value-for-the-dollar smartphone is on the horizon. Ahead of Xiaomi’s Mi 10T series launch tomorrow, we’ll get what seems like a real look at the full specifications of both the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro.

This information is courtesy of leakster Roland quandt and a lot aligns with what we’ve already seen in previous leaks. According to their report, both the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. That is still Qualcomm’s high-end flagship chip, but it is not as fast as its improved Snapdragon 865+. Still, I don’t think this is particularly noticeable to most people.

Furthermore, the Mi 10T will apparently come with 6GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the other hand, the Mi 10T Pro is said to include 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. High-end stuff, which is good to see.

At the front, both smartphones will feature 6.67 ″ Full HD + LCD displays. But, what’s interesting here is that they are also rumored to have a 144Hz refresh rate. This kind of fast refresh rate is only available on a handful of devices, usually gaming smartphones like the ROG Phone 3. Personally, I would have preferred to have a good AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate because that seems to be the sweet spot. between speed and image quality.

However, the main difference between Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro lies in their camera systems. Yes, they are both triple camera setups, but they come with different main sensors. The Mi 10T includes a 64MP wide-angle main camera, while the Mi 10T Pro will feature a 108MP wide-angle main camera. With that said, both main cameras are compatible with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. They both also feature 20MP selfie cameras that live in a hole punched in the screen.

In addition to the camera and memory settings, the other phones appear to be identical. Both will include large 5,000 mAh batteries with support for 33W fast charging. Both will feature side-mounted fingerprint scanners, dual SIM support, stereo speakers, and an infrared blaster. Oh, and they will also be 5G-capable devices.

With that said, it’s still leaks and rumors, so take it with a pinch of salt. The good news is that the global launch will take place tomorrow, September 30, 2020, so you won’t have to wait long to get all the details. Meanwhile, the local Malaysian launch for the device will take place on October 6, 2020 and you can bet we’ll be on all of that launch.

For now, the Mi 10T is rumored to sell for EUR 499 (~ RM2,425) while the Mi 10T Pro will sell for EUR 599 (~ RM2,909) for the base model and EUR 649 (~ RM3,152). for the best specifications. There are also rumors that there will be a “lite” version that works with the new Snapdragon 750G processor.
