Covid-19 case in the NU Central shopping center

PETALING JAYA: An employee of the NU Sentral shopping center here tested positive for Covid-19 and immediate disinfection of the shopping center was carried out, management said today.

The case involved one of the mall’s managers, he said in a statement.

He said that it was an isolated case and that he had been treated immediately after identification, in full compliance with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health.

“The health ministry has immediately carried out contact tracing and all close contacts, including the NU Sentral administration office employees, were tested for Covid-19 on September 26.

“The employees’ first Covid-19 test results came back negative.

“However, all employees must be quarantined for 14 days. They will work remotely, but can be contacted as usual, ”said the mall.

NU Sentral Mall is located at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields.
