Recently, many NCT fans have been taking to social media to express their disapproval of the new voting system SM Entertainment introduced for NCT 2020 promotions.
Originally, fans were given the option to vote for the member who will participate in various promotional activities for the unit, such as the photo shoot in the photobooks, a reality show for the members, and a special Christmas carol song that the members of NCT.
Many fans were upset that this would cause only selected members to appear frequently during promotions, while less popular members might not get a chance to appear at all.
As the controversy over the voting system increased, SM Entertainment made an announcement of the voting system through NCT’s Twitter account.

We will hold the voting event just toWant !: choose what you want NCT to do for you>.
The 24-member unit groups will be chosen by the NCT members through the V Live broadcast and will showcase new aspects of the members through various content.
