Apple has finally announced that it will have a special live streaming event on September 15. Usually September is a time for the Cupertino company to reveal its latest iPhone models, however, due to the current pandemic, it seems things have changed a bit.

The event will take place at 10 a.m. M. PDT on September 15, which is 1 a.m. M. The next day on September 16, Malaysia time. According to the invitation, the event bears the slogan “Time flies,” which hints that it is a new Apple Watch.

IPhone 12 launch in October?

According to Bloomberg, Apple is not announcing the latest iPhone 12 series at the next event and they are saving it for another event that is expected to take place in October. Months before it has been speculated that the iPhone 12 will be delayed this year and they could be launching a total of 4 models.

As for previous iPhone launches, Malaysia’s position has risen closer to the first wave countries and we could get it within a week after Singapore. The Malaysians will likely be able to get hold of one of the models from October or November at the latest.

4th generation iPad Air

Next Tuesday (Wednesday for Malaysia), Apple is expected to reveal the fourth-generation iPad Air, which is said to look something similar to the current iPad Pro. It is speculated that the mid-range tablet will come with a 10.8 ″ display without the physical Touch ID and the home button on the front panel. However, it is rumored that the side power button may come with an integrated fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, it is said to run on the current Apple A13 Bionic craft like the iPhone 11 series and it could come with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

In short, the current iPad Air (2019) was announced in March last year alongside the iPad mini. They both run on the Apple A12 Bionic chip, which is still powerful by today’s standard.

Apple Watch Series 6

Apple is also expected to introduce its sixth-generation Apple Watch, which is said to retain the same 40mm and 44mm case sizes. While we expect the exterior to be the same as the current Series 5, Apple is said to be introducing new features that may include a glucometer and pulse oximeter to add to your health tracking credentials. Like any new Apple Watch, there will be a newer efficient chip that will provide better performance and energy efficiency.
