The sub-brand of Xiaomi, LITTLE BIT has officially unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio, the POCO X3 NFC. Since many of the brand’s previous phones were rebranded as Xiaomi or Redmi devices, the arrival of the X3 has given a fresh air to the POCO lineup thanks to the new design that was presented on the back of the phone.

One of the main elements within the new design is the camera module, which is quite different from the previous Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices. It houses a 64MP Sony IMX682 main camera along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and another 2MP depth sensor, while there is also another 20MP punch-hole camera on the front of the phone.

In terms of processing power, POCO has previously revealed that the X3 will carry the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. In today’s global presentation web launch, the brand has filled in the blanks by stating that the phone will also carry up to 6GB LPDD4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 of storage.

POCO has also revealed that the X3 comes with a thermal solution called Liquid Cool Technology 1.0 Plus which consisted of a copper heat pipe and layers of graphite that can apparently help cool the phone’s processor down to 6 Celsius less.

Another highlight of the IP53 certified phone is its 6.67-inch Full HD + display that has a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 240Hz touch sample rate. Apart from that, it also comes standard with a 5160 mAh battery that can be charged to 62% in just 30 minutes via the 33 W charger that is included in the box.

For its latest phone, POCO has chosen not to use the in-display fingerprint reader and has chosen a side-mount reader. Long-time fans of POCO or Xiaomi may be happy to see that the brand continues to provide a 3.5mm audio jack and infrared emitter on the new X3 NFC.

Since the X3 NFC has already gone through the certification process in Malaysia, it is not surprising that Xiaomi has also announced the availability of the phone in our market. To be available starting September 9, the 64GB variant of the phone is priced at RM 899 while the 128GB model goes for RM 1099.

However, early adopters will be able to buy the new phone at a much lower price at RM 799 and RM 949 respectively through Xiaomi’s official store on Shopee. Not only that, those who bought the 64GB model will also receive a POCO mouse pad and BlackShark FunCooler.

On the other hand, customers who choose to get their hands on the 128GB X3 NFC will receive a POCO digital bag and the high-end BlackShark Fun Cooler Pro. For more information, visit the official POCO Malaysia Facebook page.
