SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari does not want the problem of his wife’s publication on social networks showing his pool to continue.
“My wife has apologized and I hope that people do not continue with this topic. She was simply expressing her happiness to receive water after waiting almost a day, “she told a news conference.

Yesterday’s two Instagram posts by Amirudin’s wife, Masdiana Muhamad, one showing a picture of the swimming pool and the other of an Air Selangor water tanker allegedly at her home amid the water disruption in the state, generated criticism of users of social networks.
Some people assumed the water tanker had been sent to fill the pool, a claim Masdiana denied in another email later that day.
“The claim that the truck was sent to fill the pool is not true at all,” he said on Instagram.
“As a mother, I just wanted to convey my thanks to the Air Selangor leaders who have been working hard over the last few days. It was not my intention to gloat, “she added in the photo of the Air Selangor water tanker in its enclosure.
He apologized for the posts, but by then, many had criticized the posts as “inappropriate” due to the water disruption that affected 1.2 million people in the state in recent days.
