PETALING JAYA: Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari’s wife has denied claims that an Air Selangor water tanker was dispatched to fill her home’s swimming pool.

This comes after social media users questioned Masdiana Muhamad’s Instagram posts, one showing an image of the swimming pool and another of an Air Selangor water tanker reportedly at her home amid the water outage. in the state.

Some social media users even criticized her and described her Instagram posts as inappropriate.

“I realize that it was careless of me to upload the photos that have sparked speculation.

“The claim that the truck was sent to fill the pool is not true at all,” he said in his latest Instagram post.

“As a mother, I just wanted to convey my thanks to the Air Selangor leaders who have been working hard over the last few days. I didn’t mean to gloat. “

Masdiana apologized if her actions had caused any misunderstanding or hurt someone’s feelings.

He added that he will join Air Selangor leaders to help them distribute water to those still affected by the water cuts.

Selangor has experienced water disruptions since Thursday after contamination was detected at Sungai Selangor, leading to the closure of four water treatment plants.

The outages affected around 1.2 million people in seven areas in the Klang Valley and more than 50% of the affected areas have yet to see their supply restored.
