Do not accept Dr. Mahathir’s motion as the Prime Minister limits Parliament to the royal speech

Former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad’s motion of distrust against Muhyiddin Yassin will not see the light of day, as the Perikatan Nasional government limited the one-day session of Parliament to the actual speech.

In a letter to all parliamentarians today, Dewan Rakyat’s secretary, Riduan Rahmat, said the prime minister had informed Parliament that the May 18 meeting is limited exclusively to the actual speech.
