Former Padungan Assemblyman Dominique Ng says he has answered a call from PKR to help him “during his time of internal crisis.”

KUCHING: Former Padungan Assemblyman Dominique Ng, who resigned from PKR in 2011 after what he described as betrayal of a “YB cartel”, joined the party today.

In a statement, the lawyer said the leaders who betrayed him, whom he described as “jackets,” left PKR or were expelled.

He said he had considered the matter for a long time since he had to leave the party with “extreme sadness and disappointment” nine years ago.

“The reason I had to leave PKR was because I was betrayed by the ‘YBs cartel’ within the group, and my Padungan seat was swapped with that of then DAP Voon Lee Shan in Batu Lintang at the last minute, killing So two very active YBs who had worked hard to serve their constituents.

“However, since the real nature and character of this ‘renegade’ team have now been exposed and have been fired or left the party, PKR has asked me to return to the party to assist them in a time of internal crisis. “, said.

He said he did not want PKR to be destroyed by these former leaders.

“I hope that PKR becomes a better party, one that can really fight for justice for the people. For the sake of the people of Sarawak, I am prepared to let go of the past and I have already forgiven those who have betrayed me, ”he said.

Ng, who is also president of the Sarawak Association for the Aspirations of the People (SAPA), said he will continue to fight for the return of Sarawak’s rights.

“What belongs to Sarawak must be returned to Sarawak,” he said.
