New cases exceed 5,000 by the third day, 14 deaths

COVID-19 | The Ministry of Health has reported 5,298 new cases of Covid-19 at noon today and 14 deaths.

This is the third day in a row that cases have passed the 5,000 mark.

Meanwhile, there were 4,522 patients discharged, a new record. There were also a record number of intubated patients.

The number of cases in Selangor has dropped below 3,000.

According to the Selangor Health Department, Petaling 1,020 new cases, including 411 cases in Damansara sub-district and 402 cases in Petaling sub-district.

Meanwhile, Johor cases have surpassed 1,000 for the third time. Previously, the state reported 1,103 cases on January 7 and 1,069 cases on January 27.
