KUALA LUMPUR: Covid-19 patients waiting for a call from the Ministry of Health (MOH) can now report through the ‘MySejahtera’ app.

Chief Health Officer Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said the app was being updated and improved to better manage the outbreak, as well as meet user needs in an effort to break the chain of infection in community.

“They (users) can go to ‘MySejahtera HelpDesk’ on the home page of the MySejahtera application and follow the instructions in section G,” he said in a statement today.

Dr. Noor Hisham said that users registered as positive cases in the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) of the Ministry of Health would also receive notifications by SMS and via the MySejahtera app starting today.

He said users would also receive tips and follow-up plans for self-assessment, as well as reminders to take the follow-up assessment of pandemic symptoms in the “Need to do” section for 10 consecutive days.

“If the user has symptoms, the information will continue to be channeled to the Covid-19 Assessment Center (CAC) and a health worker will contact the user for further evaluation,” he said.

Therefore, he said, the public is encouraged to update the MySejahtera app and make full use of all its features. -Called
