BUSINESS

– Wow Fitness, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

One member tested positive for Covid-19, Wow Fitness said on his Instagram account yesterday.

He last visited the gym on December 28 (6-7 PM), December 29 (7-8 PM), and December 30 (6-7 PM).

The gym will close tomorrow for sanitation reasons, while all staff members will be tested for Covid-19.

This is the 10th gym to announce a Covid-19 case among its staff or members in the last two weeks.

– Oxygen Cycle, Star Boulevard KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

A customer who attended an invitation-only class at Oxygen Cycle at 8.45am on Dec. 30 tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan.3, the gym said on its Instagram story.

The client requested the test on January 2 after a positive contact for Covid-19 was found.

Oxygen Cycle staff tested negative for Covid-19 and are in quarantine until January 10.

The gym has been sanitized and will be closed until further notice.

This is the 11th gym in Klang Valley to announce a case to staff or clients in the past fortnight.


RESIDENCES

– Suri Puteri Apartment, Shah Alam, Selangor

Another case was reported in Level 15, Block A, management said yesterday.

Others sharing the same drive have been tested for Covid-19 and will be quarantined for 10 days.

The administration urges all residents to ensure that no one from the unit breaks the quarantine.

Sanitation has been carried out in all affected areas.

Malaysiakini previously reported that two residents of Level 8, Block A tested positive on December 30.
