JOHOR BARU (Bernama): The Malaysia Johor Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) arrested four individuals, namely the director and employees of a frozen meat import company, on suspicion of being involved in smuggling frozen raw materials into country.

According to a source, all of the detainees, aged between 39 and 50, were arrested at the Johor MACC office on Sunday night (January 3) to assist in the ongoing investigation.

The source also said that the MACC took this issue seriously because it involved the public interest, especially Muslims in the country and the investigation was carried out under the MACC Act of 2009.
