Jung Joon Won’s agency has responded to reports that the “World of Married” actor was engaged in drinking and smoking for minors.
Recently, photos allegedly from Jung Joon Won’s Facebook account started circulating online. Although Jung Joon Won is currently a minor, the photos seemed to show him drinking and smoking with his friends.
On May 10, Jung Joon Won’s agency DAIN Entertainment released an official statement on the matter.

This is our agency’s response to Jung Joon Won’s social media posts that were revealed today.
First, our job is to manage actors, for which we sincerely apologize for any failure on our part in managing our artist. We are currently conducting a thorough internal investigation of the situation and will ensure that it does not happen again.
We are sorry to have caused a public criticism incident at a time when society is disordered due to COVID-19. We also deeply regret the production staff for the drama “The World of the Married”.
We will be more careful in managing our artists in the future and will do our best to avoid a recurrence and move towards improvement.

Jung Joon Won was born in 2004, making him 16 in international age and 17 in Korean age. He plays Cha Hae Kang in “The Married World”, Cha Do Chul’s teenage son (Kim Tae Hyang) and his wife (Yoon In Jo).
