PETALING JAYA: Last night a fire broke out at a Popular Housing Project (PPR) in Desa Tun Razak, causing 26 motorcycles to catch fire.

In a statement, the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said it received an emergency call at 12:48 am about a fire in Block 2 of the Tun Razak Apartments of the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL).

Fire trucks were mobilized to the scene, with 13 people putting out the fire at 1.06 am.

“When they arrived at the scene, it was found that the fire involved 26 motorcycles that were completely destroyed by the fire. The motorcycles were located in the parking lot on the floor, ”he said.

There were no casualties and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
