Colin-19 frontliners go the extra mile to help vulnerable Malaysians

PETALING JAYA: Frontline healthcare workers who go the extra mile for vulnerable citizens are melting the hearts of the Malays.

In a group of photos, healthcare workers fully clothed in personal protective equipment (PPE) are seen helping elderly and disabled Malaysians who showed up to get tested for Covid-19 at a recent Ministry screening session. Health in the wet market of Pudu.

Medical workers went above and beyond in duty, and this can be seen in images showing a healthcare worker pushing an elderly man’s wheelchair to help him get to the test site.

Three other health workers, also dressed in full personal protective clothing, are seen in another photo helping an elderly man climb in a wheelchair down a sidewalk.

Chief Health Officer Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, Pos Malaysia President Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, and Mercy Malaysia founder Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood were among those who praised the leaders for their service and compassion.

They shared photos on social media of leaders in the field helping others.
