Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger congratulated Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool’s goal in the last minute against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
The Spurs conceded with just seconds to go at Anfield in a clash at the top of the table via a Roberto Firmino header, with the Reds leading José Mourinho’s team to first place with three points.
It was a wonderful two days for Klopp, who was named FIFA’s Best Male Coach for the second year in a row on Thursday night.
The German coach guided Liverpool to their first Premier League title earlier this year, following a fantastic 2019; where he brought a sixth Champions League trophy to Anfield.

Wenger, the Arsenal legend, was the man responsible for announcing the award winner, and he couldn’t miss the perfect opportunity to target the Spurs.
“You have two really wonderful days! Last night you won at the last minute and today you won the best coach of the year, congratulations! “
However, things are not going so well for Wenger’s former club at the moment, as the Gunners are suffering their worst start to the season in the league in 46 years.
Mikel Arteta’s side ended their losing streak at home on Wednesday night, but was only able to draw a draw with Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Saturday night on the difficult journey to Everton, which have now won back-to-back Premier League games against Chelsea and Leicester City.
A win for the Gunners could take them to 13th place as they try to force themselves up the table after their slow start to the season.
