Tottenham Hotspur coach José Mourinho has praised the importance of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in his team.
Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have done a great job in the attacking department, scoring a total of 18 goals in Tottenham’s first 11 Premier League games. However, Mourinho is also pleased with the significant improvement in the Spurs midfield, courtesy of Hojbjerg’s summer signing.
The Denmark international left Southampton for Tottenham earlier this year and immediately had an impact on Mourinho’s squad. It didn’t take long for Hojbjerg to assimilate Kane and Son onto the field, convincing the renowned coach that he is the type of player Tottenham would always need.
