BUKIT MERTAJAM: The wife of soccer star Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), Muhammad Syafiq Ahmad, was transferred to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for further treatment.

Nur Amalina Nurain, 25, is in stable condition and has been transferred to allow HKL specialists to continue monitoring her condition until she is fully recovered.

She was first treated by specialists at Seberang Jaya Hospital (HSJ) here after the horrific accident that claimed the lives of her 22-day-old son, Muhammad Aisy Saqeef, his mother Zainab Wahab, 45, and Indonesian maid Titik Sukamti. , from 42..

“Nur Amalina was transferred to HKL at 6.30 in the morning. My family and I, including Syafiq, will go to HKL today to be with Nur Amalina until she recovers and is discharged from the hospital, ”said Muhammad Syafiq’s father, Ahmad Ibrahim, 56.

“He is improving and is in stable condition. She is not in serious condition, ”he said when contacted here today.

Meanwhile, he said Muhammad Syafiq denied falling asleep at the wheel before the crash early Sunday morning. Instead, his oldest son said he was trying to avoid something that caused him to lose control of the Toyota Vellfire he was driving.
