GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

– In front of Perai City Hall, Penang

A member of the council staff tested positive for Covid-19 on December 2, Oriental Journal reported.

Several departments, including the landscaping offices in the city hall building, will be closed for disinfection.

Mayor Rozali Mohamud said the employee was last at work on November 25.


BUSINESS

– Angsana JB Shopping Center, Johor Bahru, Johor

At least one positive case was detected in this shopping center.

According to a store owner, a family member who operates a beverage business there tested positive for the virus, and the other family members were ordered to have swabs tested today.

The family member who last tested positive went to the mall on Sunday (November 29), he said.

Malaysiakini contacted a member of senior management at Angsana JB Mall, but declined to comment.
