KUALA LUMPUR: There have been two police complaints against an investment plan here, police say.
“I think there have been complaints against this scheme in Malaysia. The losses of the two victims here were RM9,888 and RM10,000, respectively.
“When the police raided the plan offices in KL Eco City here, we discovered that it had been closed since November 9.
“It’s clear that this is a bogus investment plan because they closed the store and fled,” Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Comm Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said at the contingent’s headquarters here on Monday (November 30).
He also urged everyone to distrust such schemes.
“We have already identified the union,” he added.
In an unrelated case, police dismantled two online gambling operations in raids on November 27 and 28.
Raids were carried out on two condominium units in Jalan Kia Peng and a hotel in Bukit Bintang.
Nine people were arrested in the raids on November 27, while 29 were captured the next day.
